2020 Freshman Class Virtual Celebration

Celebrating Excellence

The 2020 Class of Adam W. Herbert Presidential Scholars were invited to a special virtual event!

The Herbert Presidential Scholars Program (HPS), created by President Emeritus Adam W. Herbert during his tenure at Indiana University, is one of the most prestigious scholarships for IU students. Those selected for the scholarship demonstrate an outstanding commitment to academic excellence and great leadership potential despite overcoming personal challenges and obstacles. Recipients of the scholarship are residents of Indiana attending any of IU’s seven campuses and centers across the state.

Each year, new students and their families across the state gather on the Bloomington campus for a reception and dinner to welcome them into the HPS community. This year the event was a virtual celebration in honor of the 2020 freshman class of Herbert Presidential Scholars, took place Friday, January 29, 2021, at 7:00 p.m.
